Banff Trip Day 1

Well, we finally got away from the house at around 3:45 on Friday!  I had three appointments, and we just couldn't get a move on!  We got as far as the gas station and had to fuel up before hitting the highway.  We told Kia we were going to leave her there, and she freaked out.  Trevor had to get something from the backseat and she totally hid as far from him as possible - what a clown!

Jackson did awesome!  He slept until we got to the other end of Calgary.  He then woke, didn't make a peep, and we stopped to eat and to feed him and pee Kia.  It worked out quite well.  Then we hit the road again.  Jackson slept until we hit the Banff National Park Entrance...he then woke, cried two scared cries after Kia barked at the lady in his ear, and that's all we heard out of him for the whole trip!  He stayed awake until the hotel and just took it all in!  It was nice having them together in the back.  Once I turned around at a good time to find Kia sneaking a quick kiss in on his cheek as he was sleeping.  So sweet!

We were initially unsure of our room, but it's done it's job just fine.  Thank GOD we got a room with a kitchenette...not sure what we would have done without.  It's pretty clean, but now with Jackson I feel like a huge germ-o-phobe!

I will update more possible tomorrow.  For now, everyone is sleeping but me!  Last night Jackson was snoring, tonight it's Kia!

(love that we could use this mirror, it was so nice!)
(Yum, Yum!)

(Happy Belly! Happy Baby!)
(He found the sunroof while eating...most fascinating find since blinds!)

Awake and talking to himself in the mirror!

Our Room...

Jackson in his basinette!  So glad we brought it!  Apparently I was dreaming last night that Jackson was co-sleeping with us, which is strange, because it has never happened, but anyways - I jumped out of the bed and was telling Trevor I couldn't find Jackson, that he was gone and I was scared that he wasn't in the bed with us.  I scared both of us...and Jackson happily continued to sleep through it all in his bed!  So strange!)

Bath Time happens where ever we are, and he is always just as happy after!!...
