Never take away the balloons!
Last weekend when we were at my parents doing some 1 year photos for Jackson, we had made the mistake of taking away the balloons from him for a few shots...and I can tell ya - he wasn't impressed! However, I rarely get to see this face and think it is so friggin cute!
And all was fine when the balloons were returned!
Jackson's Cake Smash
This weekend we snuck in Jackson's Smash the Cake session! I was really on the fence about doing one, mostly because of time constraints, but really wanted to try something new - and it's always easier practicing on your own baby! Anywhos...to see more photos from the session, click here!
Yes, I threw this cake together in under an hour! I think I'm getting better at this whole fondant thing and actually REALLY enjoy making cakes! It's just another creative outlet for me I guess! If anyone ever sees stacked square cake pans - please let me know :)
