Sawyer Bear!

Mr. Sawyer is already 19 months old.  However, these photos were taken for his 18 month post - you know - the one I never got to writing!!!

So, who is Sawyer you ask?!

-  Sawyer is STUBBORN!  -
-  He speaks about a dozen words give or take; his favorite being NO and MORE, which isn't surprising given the first point and how much he likes food! -
- He naps once a day and goes to bed well at night.  This is a big improvement as our friend Sawyer used to be a 'cryer'.  Every time you put him down to sleep...he cried.  But it's great to say that he goes down for nap and bed with no tears 98% of the time -
- No bottle but still LOVES milk -
- He is a snuggler and they are the BEST -
- He has a smile that will melt your heart, making his stubborn ways easier to forgive -
- He wants so badly to be able to do everything his brother does -
- He can be incredibly patient, calm, sweet, and easy going WHEN HIS BELLY IS FULL -
- If he is the least bit hungry, forget about the above point...it's all downhill! -
- Super playful -
- Sweetest giggle EVER -
- Loves to be chased or chase while ROARING -
- Loves to give cuddles and kisses; on his terms of course! -
- Far more timid/unsure of things than Jackson ever was -
- Loves to bounce -
- Can take a while to warm up -
- EATS...LOTS...is always the last man standing -
- 34 lbs and TALL with huge hands -
- Wears size 2 or 3 T -
- Some of his most utilized words are mom, more, all gone, milk, bye, hi, ball, go, tickle tickle and of course NO -
- We are working on body parts...I've never been so excited for someone to pick my nose while saying 'nose' as I was yesterday while changing his bum! -
- Favorite food is...hmmm...cheese puffs and yogurt -
- Favorite toys tend to be monster trucks -
- Loves bath time and water play of all kind -
- Reading books is a favorite -
- Cardboard/paper is a fifth food group -
- Laughs at funny parts of shows, etc which is adorable to over hear -
-  I think he a born athlete -
- His throw and accuracy is unreal for his age -
- Picked up Jackson's hockey stick and held it correctly right away -

Gosh, I'm sure I could go on, but that's a good summary of our favorite little (ah hem - BIG) Bear.

He is such his own little person now.  It's funny how you assume that one is going to be just like the other, but Moose and Bear's personalities are quite a bit different, so there's been a lot of learning and growth on my end as a parent.  Foreign territory to be chartered.  I appreciate that he's teaching me...but I can do without some of the testing ;) hahaha.

We love you Sawyer.
Every. Single. Day.
Our Family is so much better with you in it.

It is amazing to watch how close these two boys are.  They love each other.  They play great together.  Jackson is always wanting to wake Sawyer up.  Sawyer always walks to the front of the line and inside to sit beside Jackson in the room when we go to pick him up from Preschool.  They miss each other when the other isn't around.  Everything about their relationship is exactly what I'd hoped for and more and I feel really, really lucky.  There is something super special about watching this brotherly bond form.
