Well, today was the big day! We were so very excited to get a glimpse inside at our little guy...who wasn't being very cooperative! It was very exciting and although we didn't have the exact outcome we hoped for, we are pleased with the end result! Our little guy was awake (eyes open!), but wasn't in the mood for a photo session! He enjoyed hiding his face behind his arms and turning over to face my back! Needless to say, it was a difficult session for the poor ultrasound tech, who was great! In fact, she ended early and rescheduled us to come back in two weeks when he has grown a bit and her hope is that won't be able to turn away so easily! She was able to catch a few good shots!...
The above one is a good one of his hands playing with his toes! You can see a bit of his face at the top too!
The below one I love that he moved his hands long enough to capture a quick glimpse of his cute cheeks! The one underneath this one below really shows his eyes open!
He may just be a snuggler! He loved to curl up into his comfy position with his hands by his face into a ball!

Well, I thought I would share our very exciting afternoon! We are actually quite please with the results because it means we get to go back and do it all over again! Yay! Any glimpse that we can get at our little guy really makes it that much more exciting! We can't wait to meet him! Enjoy the rest of your weekends and don't forget about daylight savings (ugh, we lose an hour!).

It's so amazing when you can have great pictures like these to start to see what your little babe will look like. So far he's looking pretty darn cute!
