I've totally dropped the ball on updating you all on our trip - but it so far has felt unsettled. So, we are here - safe and sound! We had a rough first night and Moose really struggled with being out of his element! Each day his naps and nights have settled more. However, on the first night he biffed it and hit his head/face on the carpet and got rug burn under his nose...each day it seems to look worse, although I know it's getting better - the scab just looks like crap! AND then yesterday we had noticed a rash on Moose, and thought it was a heat rash and got him cooled and out of the sun...only to notice this morning that it had gotten much worse. So, off to pharmacy we went. We think it may be an allergic reaction to the sunscreen but have to just wait it out and see. Poor little guy looks rough - and I feel so sad for him. Throw in cutting a tooth in that mix and it's been a blast! Haha. Actually all in all, considering all of the above, we are having a nice time. It is HOT. But nice.
