LEGOLAND - Last Day

Our last day at Legoland was just as hot as the first day, but we decided to brave the heat and hit up the park one last time with the mentality 'we came all this way...'.  My parents did NOT pay to go to the park one more day, and they probably made the better choice!  We walked around and took in more of the indoor things that kept us out of the sun and provided some entertainment.  All in all - it was another average day and we were happy to head back to the house!

One of two characters we saw in our 3 days!  If we were that hot, I can't imagine how the poor person in that costume felt!

As fun as creating their own car and racing it down a slope was, it was nothing we couldn't have done ourselves at home!

The lines for the rides were incredibly long for what the ride was worth.  Again, if the heat wouldn't have been so severe, this may have been more manageable, but man did the waits take forever!

A little kid play area existed that provided some brief entertainment for the boys.

And the best part of the day was the ice cream they got on the way out!

I'm going to guess it is fairly obvious that this was a sub par experience for our little lego lovers.  HOWEVER, I will say that the hotel was awesome AND the fact that so many things are made of lego is really truly cool - you can tell that thought and effort went into the displays.  I think we won't be venturing down to visit this venue again for a long time...!
