Galaxyland with Sawyer

While Jackson was at his swim summer camp, Sawyer and I got to spend some one on one time together.  Completely unintentionally, we made a pass through Galaxyland - and stayed for a couple hours.  It was awesome.  He had SO MUCH FUN.  And it was much cheaper than KDAYS - FREE to be exact!  Can't beat free!  He was all smiles the whole time.  It brought back memories of when we brought moose here at the same age - Moose would cry after every ride because he didn't want to get off.  So my dad started telling him that the motor bike, plane, etc was about to run out of gas and they needed to get off to refuel.  Sawyer had no issues getting on and off and going from one ride to another.  It was awesome.  Unexpected adventures sometimes turn into the best times!

My initial plan was to just do some returns, so we rented the police car, which would have been fun enough for him I'm sure!

But we ventured over to Galaxyland and the kids rides were deserted.  No waiting = Awesome!

Then he flew a plane.  I thought he would be scared doing things on his own as he's always so used to the guidance of Big Brother Moose, but I think he enjoyed the independence!

This was one of his favorites!

Then we went on the mini ferris wheel.  This was his favorite at KDays, so we thought - why not!

This was like a baby drop of doom ride...I thought he'd be terrified, but he hasn't giggled that hard for that long ever.  It was awesome!  Wish I coulda had that on video!

The bumper cars was hilarious.  He was by far the youngest one on there and he just kept steering in one direction, thereby doing mini circles over and over again.  The older kids would come bump him once in a while and he would LAUGH.  It was just too cute!

And then we finished with a 'coo coo' ride.
