Beaver's Progress

Today when Jackson woke from his afternoon nap, he did some rearranging in his room!  He dropped Ginger, and anything else he could get his paws on, to the floor!  I also thought I would show you an update on our little Beaver's progress on his crib!  Stink Rat!
Looking at all his goodies!
Greeting Ginger after I picked her up!
It really makes me want to scream!
We got touch up stain from E-Children, but I'm waiting until this phase passes!

Tonight he was playing around in his diaper after he got his dinner on his clothes...he can be quite a goof!  Miss you Daddy - and it's only been a few hours!

Peek

I'm so sad the beginning of this formula is blurry - I'm still getting used to sometimes using my big camera as a video camera.  But it was supposed to show how he carries his puppy around in his mouth while he needs both his hands! It will also show his new tongue trick - always hangin out tucked to the side!  Then it shows how silly he was being with daddy!

Enjoy the giggles and smiles!

I want it!

Tonight I was trying to catch Jackson opening and closing the drawers in the kitchen - but as soon as he saw I had the camera - he wanted it!  In fact, if you listen closely 18 seconds in you will hear him say I want it - then you will hear him laugh at me laughing!  He is such a little monster!

No More Monkies...

Jumping in their beds!

Ah nap times - not as easy anymore!

Cause and Effect!

So this morning while we were vacuuming, Jackson was 'helping'!  He thinks the vacuum is hilarious...we put it on low and open the vent so there's little suction and suck his toes, tummy, etc and he giggles and laughs.  This morning though, he took the vacuum and for a few seconds wondered what it would be like to suck his lip!  He was laughing and I was watching to make sure it didn't get near his teeth!  He was being quite cautious and careful - and it was so funny to watch him experiment with cause and effect!

 He's such a little boy!

Breakie

Trevor had to take the car in to Mazda today and Jackson was being super funny - so I felt like I had my camera out all morning!  Breakfast is always fun...we get to visit...and talk...and eat!  We were at Rhymes that Bind the other day and this is where we discovered that Jackson LOVES Arrowroot cookies!  Yum Yum!
His eyes are bigger than his mouth!
But he'll try!
Which resulted in him dropping it...
This is the look he gave me when I asked him if he needed help...
Apparently he didn't because he retrieved it on his own and was delighted!

Then during our yogurt (his favoritest food!) a big blog dropped from the spoon onto his bib.  Instead of letting me try to get it, he folded his neck and chin over as far as they would go and attempted to lick/suck it off...
Remember when we were little and we would put paint on paper and fold it in half to create a mirrored picture of blobby goodness?  That's what this reminded me of!

And then, like usual, he was off to chase the Roomba :)

Enjoy your Mondays everyone!

Ten Minutes in our Morning...

Jackson has turned into being quite my little helper...mostly when it comes to vacuuming and laundry!  Today I had his clothes to fold and so he, naturally, found the vacuum.  He had a series of events that happened after...I will walk you through them!
He has been pointing at things more lately.
I think he's showing me the light.
LOVES the vacuum!  Both the power head and wand...but the wand is easier for him to move!
He was able to crawl with the wand out of the closet.  Again...he's been taking things with him more and more...this morning it was the saddle on his horse...he took it off, carried it around in his mouth while he crawled, and tried to put it on everything else!  Anyways...once out of the closet, he noticed I was folding clothes.  What he loves to do is take the clothes out of the dryer and place throw them on the floor and look to see where the have fallen to!  I proceed to pick them up and fold them.

But today he had another idea...and I don't know how he would have thought of this...but he wanted to combine his two favorite tasks by placing the vacuum wand in the dryer.  This takes quite a bit of navigating and coordination, so I'm at least proud he was able to do what he did!

This was the Ah-Ha moment!

This lasted until he heard the water filling up the washer...then he had to go check that out...

What you can't see because of the stupid shadow is he's trying to lick the washer every time water splashed against the glass!
When no water was entering his mouth he started to bang on the door!

Then I took him out of the room while I went to get his breakie started...looked and he wasn't there.  I foolishly forgot to close the door...so this is what I found...

Many people were disappointed that I didn't catch the flour incident on camera...so I'm making an effort to pair my NOs with taking pictures.  Needless to say, I had a mess to clean up and pajamas to change!
