**JACKSON IS FIVE MONTHS OLD**
YUP, it's true! Our Little Man is officially Five Months Old as of yesterday! Here are our Five Month photos! Getting him to look at the camera was next to impossible as we went to the park nearby with about three houses being built around it, landscapers working away, and, of course...grass to stare at! Sigh. Oh well, I'm loving some of them regardless - just would have liked him to have been a bit more focused!! I guess he IS only Five Months!
His tie became his own attached toy!
What has Jackson been up to?!
*He sits on his own! As shown above!*
*He squeaks and chatters A LOT, and it's loud, and it's high pitched!**
*He plays with toys!*
*He just started eating cereal; rice and oatmeal!*
*He has taken up an interest in his furry sister*
*He has a sense of humor and times smiles and laughs greatly!*
*He now uses his big boy car seat*
*He loves to stand...a lot...everywhere...even when it is very inconvenient!*
*He has rolled over from his back to belly once, and come close several other times...the only thing in his way?...His head!*
*He grabs hair, earrings, glasses, necklaces, and most things he can get his hands on!*
*He enjoys helping with his feeds, and has his hands on the bottle/spoon most of the time*
*He has slept right through the night on a few occasions, and when he doesn't make it all the way - he only wakes for one feed*
*He likes bubbles!*
*Jackson loves the squirm around, is very patient, and loves to sing songs*
*His most favorite thing is his Jolly Jumper, and I'm sure if we let him, he'd live in it!*
I'm sure I'm missing some, but it really has been a big month for our boy! Each morning we get to wake up to his smiling face, and each night we are lucky enough to peak in on him slumbering peacefully before we go to bed. He has made our lives so fulfilling, fun, and filled with firsts! Each day is something new and exciting. A new look, a new noise, a new talent. He is growing like a weed - and we are so proud that we get to call him our own!
We love you Jackson Ryan, and the more time we spend with you, the more we forget that there was ever life before you. Stay happy, stay sweet, stay cuddly, and stay full of wonder!

Don't forget that he is also a Roots of Empathy teacher. I went to visit the Grade 2's today and they were very disappointed that Baby Jackson was not with me!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, he looks so cute in his shirt and tie!!!

Oh man, I miss the guy. And you too, of course! The pictures look awesome! Hope I see you soon! (I have a hard week, but then there's a brief period of calm during which we must meet!)
