Summertime :)

Want to know what one of our favorite things about summertime is?!  BBQs!  Not just the delicious food, but the fantastic family time outside!  Last night we had my parents over and we even ate outside...which we are starting to do more and more.  It's nice, less clean up, and somehow it just feels like a special treat!

 

 

I'm pretty sure Moose spent a good chunk of the time driving in circles in his tractor...and quite contently I might add!

 

 Then we busted out his new birthday baseball set!  He loves turning this thing on and fishing the balls to put back in.  Between him and Kia, we had two ball retrievers!  He loves loading 'em in and pushing the button!

A swing and a miss!  This was actually rare - Papa hit more than he missed!

Jackson realized that if he held his bad two inches from the shooter, he had a guaranteed hit!

 Then it was time to drive his tractor in circles some more!  If he was feeling extra adventurous he would go in a figure 8!

 Sawyer joined us on the deck after his nap and was very content chilling in his highchair!  He was super cute, coo-y, smiley, and, well, - PERFECT!  I love these two boys!  They are both growing so fast!  And although the nights are a bit longer, and the days a bit more exhausting - life would be a whole lot less magical without these two!

 

 Then to wind down from all the baseball playing and tractor riding, we had some reading time with our new leap frog junior! 

I really can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday night than this.  It really was perfect.  Sun shining, good food, cold beer, laughing children, family, and play time!
