Here are a few shots from yesterday! Oh the boys! These two are
growing so very fast and after the photos I will tell ya a thing or two
about each of them and what they're up to! I've been meaning to do that
for far too long! What can I say - life is BUSY!
Last night we went to the Terwilliger Farmer's Market. It was slightly small and disappointing - but we did get some cookies and Jackson got a cool tattoo! He was walking around showing everyone there while 'rwaring' at them! Cute!

Sawyer
- 10 weeks old! -
- Weighed in at 15 lbs, 7 oz. at his 2 month immunizations (that's two pounds bigger than his older brother at this age - CRAZY!) -
- Still trying to figure out his nap schedule! But he is starting to become more consistent -
- His eyes are getting bluer by the day! -
- His eyes are getting bluer by the day! -
- Sleeps fairly well at night (amazing compared to Moose!). Usually wakes two times for a feed...sometimes once - but those are few and far between right now. He used to be up consistently between 4:30-6 with gas pains now and again to complain, but the past week he's done this less and less and has more consistently been an efficient eater and gone back to sleep -
- Has the most precious smile, and shares it quite generously! -
- Loves watching the ceiling fan in our room -
- Loves to sit up -
- Has cheeks that are to die for! -
- Hair is getting longer on top -
- Some would say he is a Momma's boy -
- Gives his Daddy a hard time when he comes home from his week away! -
- Eats between 4-6 oz. every 3-4 hours -
- Loves his baths and is calmed by his night routine -
- Is a BEAR when he is overtired! -
- Sleeps best when in his car seat/stroller as he prefers the jiggly/shaky motion -
- Rolled over from his belly to his back at 8 weeks old (just like Moosey!) -
- Sucks on his hand when he is hungry. Still can't get him to take a pacifier though!! -

- Likes singing and the butt pat! -
- Has made our hearts grow much bigger :) -
Jackson
- Turned two just about a month ago -
- Has definitely discovered the words NO and MINE (Booo!) -
- Has become a sponge and is full of words all the time -
- Strings 3-4 word sentences together consistently now -
- Has impeccable manners lately! -
- Is sleeping in a big boy bed -
- Napping once a day -
- LOVES tractors still -
- LOVES Kia, and now wants her in his bed with him -
- Enjoys being outside...no matter what we're doing -
- Favorite park equipment is the slide! -
- Loves to play peek a boo and hide and seek and can be quite silly at engaging you in these games -
- LOVES his books still and his little red chair -
- Loves Sawyer but sometimes tells him 'Move Please Sawyer' -
- Is still a fish when it comes to playing in the water! -
- A few months ago he was calling geese giraffes and I forgot to mention it! He now calls them geese!
- Has a memory that is far sharper than either of ours! -
- Is STILL working on his molars and drooooooools when they are really bugging him -
- Is wearing 3/4 clothes. -
- Holding strong at around 36 pounds -
- Is starting to show more and more interest in the potty, we're gonna take the plunge soon and just stay home for a few days to potty train...he's peed and poop on his potty on different occasions -
- Has owies on his knees almost always bc of playing hard -
A few fun stories about Jackson lately...
- We refer to booboos as owies, but one day I asked him to show his papa his booboos and he proceeded to pick his nose and show papa his boogers!!! -
- This morning, he looked up at the monitor and said 'I coming MAMA' and I answered 'Okay Moosey...then I hear some comosion and the door swing open and he yells 'MAMA WHERE ARE YOU?!' I yelled back 'I'm in bed'. RUN RUN RUN down the hallway with arms full of tractors. He climbs into bed and says 'brrrr cold' and proceeds to cuddle me. He often uses 'brrrr cold' to get cuddles, like he needs to trick us or something! -
- The other weekend Moose fell down the stairs...scary and terrifying...and with his fabulous memory lately, he didn't forget! He told us all about it the next day, and has proceeded to tell almost EVERYONE about it since! 'Fall down stairs....owie!' to the stranger at the store! Perfect! -
I love this post! Thanks for taking the time to share! There are so many special things happening in your house right now.
