Tonight we thought we would take a shot at the dog park and try our 'Snuggly Hug' carrier - but once we got Jackson in for the trial fit at home and he fell asleep, we chickened out and opted for a walk at our park instead. This was both lovely and disappointing! The carrier worked great and I quite enjoyed using it vs. the stroller and think it will be nice to use at the dog park. The disappointing part is that our beloved neighborhood park has become overgrown with stink weeks and is not nice to be at for any period of time (it used to be so nice to just cross the street and enjoy the path and lake)...so we didn't even take photos...we threw the ball for Kia (it kept getting lost in the weeds!) and at least she was delighted! Other than that...we are just watching Avatar (I love this movie!) and hoping to get to bed at a good time! It's still quite hot out...maybe some of you are sitting on a deck somewhere enjoying time in the sun!
I forgot to update you all...at the Health Centre on Friday, Jackson weighed in at 10 pounds, 7 ounces!
