We had to write on our special Santa cookie plate, put some reindeer floor out on the porch, pick some cookies to lay out, and get ourselves to bed for the guy in the big red suit!

Christmas Morning
This year Trevor wasn't able to make it home until Christmas Day in the evening. So, the boys and I slept at my mom and dads and had Christmas morning there. It was a new experience for everyone and nicer than waking up alone on Christmas morning. Luckily Santa knew our longing to wait for Daddy to come home, because he made an appearance at Nana and Papas with one toy and a special note for the boys. Lucky boys.
Jackson was up bright and early with a streak of excitement. Sawyer slept through and we ended up waking him up!
A special letter that came with Optimus Prime under the tree.
The boys were able to open a couple presents and then they were joined by their cousins and we all had Christmas together. Presents, giggles, turkey - yum. And to cap off a lovely day, we got to pick up Daddy from the airport!
Magformers was the biggest introduction this year. The boys had never been exposed to it prior to Christmas and there was no looking back...Jackson is obsessed with his Magformers. He loves building and constructing.
Not long after getting the boys dressed, uncle and auntie showed up and full Christmas was in swing!
The boys were spoiled rotton, not surprisingly. It was a great day with lots of great gifts and memories. Yummy dinner. Lots of smiles. Happy hearts.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve brought a wonderful present that we had been hoping for the better part of 2014. We are so thrilled and delayed (on here) in announcing...
These two adorable boys are going to be big brothers!
They are pretty frigging excited...let me tell ya!
We cannot wait to meet this new addition at the end of August! She will be well loved, I have no doubt!

Christmas Concert - Dec. 16
This past year was Jackson's last 'preschool' concert. Next year will be Sawyer's turn...how crazy is that?! I can't imagine Sawyer in Preschool. He will love it. Here is a peak at the night!
This is a horrible picture but I had to include it. There is a 12 girl to 4 boy ratio in Jackson's Preschool class! The girls have taken to him and are always 'Hi Jackson' 'I like your shirt Jackson' etc. How has this started already!?
This critter stayed awake this year! Last year he was sleeping before it even started, this year he was celebrating!
Probably my favorite photo from the night...
And you may want to slightly turn down your volume before pressing play on this endearing video ;)
Winter Luminaries
A few winters ago Trev's parents got us a kit to make ice globes to put candals in to make into winter lights. We've made them every year since getting the kit. This year, with the weather, they didn't seem to last all that long sadly...but were enjoyed nonetheless!

Christmas Card Photos - Nov. 21
I always try to opt for outdoor photos when possible for the boys and our cards. This winter I wanted to catch some early morning frost but it just didn't happen, so we ran out during an early morning flurry one weekend. Quick 5 minute shoot was enough to catch some photos to use for the Christmas cards. Love those smiling faces...
