Jackson's First Sleepover

February 1st marked the first time Jackson EVER had a sleep over elsewhere without us.  It was such a spur of the moment thing and wasn't how I'd imagined it at all!  In fact, it was completely his idea and Auntie Nicole was totally on board with it all that we just followed his lead, which I think is what made it so easy.  We had gone tobogganing Friday evening and were having ice cream at Nana Selma and Papa Kurts!  Jackson decided that when it was time to leave, he wanted to sleep at 'Auntie Cole's' house.  I was surprised and, I'm not going to lie, a little bit sad!

Me:  'Okay.  But Jackson, Mommy is going to miss you'
Moose:  'It's okay Mama, I love you more'

Haha...yes, he said that.  He's so stinkin cute.

I got this little video from him that night...and I love it...and I love him :)

Best Sound EVER

What is better than the sound of a laughing baby?  NOTHING - I promise :)

Fun in the Sun

This morning was too darn nice to not take advantage!

So, we cancelled our waterpark date with the Leblancs and opted for a tobogganing trip instead!  It was so much fun!  Pair that with pre-toboganning breakie and post-tobogganing ice cream, beer, and hockey - and we had ourselves a great morning!

I love Winter :)

One thing that I loved and was helpful is Jackson seemed just as eager to climb up the hills as he was to slide down them!

Trying to slide down the hill on his belly like a penguin!
A great way to spend a Saturday morning - and surprisingly we were the only ones on the hill for 98% of the time!

I Wonder...

...Is it bad that when you run into friends at an Oiler game, they comment on my lack of updates on my blog lately?!

I needed the kick in the butt!

These are some pics from the boys on Thursday morning.  Goodness me, they melt my heart.  They often have little conversations, play time, interactions that really are just so sweet!  And Sawyer, his little face just melts my heart!  And Jackson, man is he a ham!

Their Pajamas are too darn cute and were picked out by none other than Moose himself who insisted on having the 'blue airplanes' and getting the 'ones with feet' for Sawyer.  I'm not going to complain, I loved them too!

Jackson:  'Uh huh, and then what happened?'
Sawyer:  'The dragons teeth were this big and I wrestled him to the ground!'
Jackson:  'Right, - let's play tractors now, okay!?'
Sawyer: 'Hmm...Yah, ok. But I get the yellow one.'

Friday Fun

This afternoon between naps and dinner we decided to take a quick little jaunt over to the park across the street.  I actually wanted to go tobogganing, but Trev thought this was closer and there was a hill that was reasonable enough.  I beg to differ and still want to go tobogganing - however, it was fun nonetheless!!!  These two boys are just too darn sweet and really do love each other a whole heck of a lot!  I truly hope that is here to stay!  Obviously they will fight, but here's to hoping to a couple of good buds; now and forever!
Kisses for Sawyer

It's written all over Sawyer's face how much he adores Jackson - LOVE!
Hope all of you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather of the day as well!
