Just a couple shots from yesterday because the lighting was good and, well, he's cute!

Paleontologist in Training
When we had gone to Jurassic Forest, we bought a cool Excavation Kit.
Tonight we...excavated!
I love how serious and into it he was! He was very excited to be digging for dinosaur bones, and was also excited that he had found a 't-rex'! Also a special activity that he was able to do with his Papa. We had turkey dinner here tonight and it was delicious and this was a fun, calm activity to wind it all down! Great idea!

| ROAR - in case you can't lip read ;) |

| So Cool! It's already sitting in his bedroom on his dresser! |
$12.99 well spend! For the record, it was for ages 8+, which I understand given the tools and attention and gentle nature entailed...however, my little 2 year old LOVED it...and with proper supervision - it was a great 'together' project!
Sawyer's Six Months Old :)
I can't believe he is already 6 months old! Half a year has passed, just like that. It's really quite scary how time flies so quickly. We are always so caught up in surviving the moment that by the time we sit back to reflect, the clock has already spun out of control! Thank God for photos and memories! What a sad sad world it would be to not be able to capture the moments!
Here is Sawyer at Six Months Old!
- Sawyer is sitting on his own now and playing really well -
- He loves to chew on anything that goes near his mouth -
- He has cut a tooth twice, but it has popped back in. We are waiting...and waiting...and painfully WAITING! -
- He rolls effortlessly from his back to front and front to back. -
- The hardest part of the day for him is getting him to take a bottle, which you wouldn't know because he is over 21 lbs and has grown out of a lot of his 6-12 month clothing already! -
- He LOVES his jolly jumper -
- He LOVE HIS BROTHER. Jackson can get a smile or giggle from Sawyer hands down easier than anyone else! -
- We are working on getting him to sleep better at night. Right now the bugger wakes anywhere from once to three time. SCREAM! He did better when he was a few months old for goodness sakes! -
- He is enjoying his introduction to solids -
- He loves baths -
- He has an adorable dimple on his one cheek! -
- He is VERY ticklish on the back of his neck and upper back! -
- He has outgrown his bucket seat :( -
We LOVE you Sawyer Bear. Even when you are a cranky teething drooly mess!

Bananas
Bananas seems to be the fruit of choice for Sawyer. He hasn't really been into eating anything or letting anything in his poor mouth. Teething is getting the best of us all - and I look forward to those white teethers coming out and STAYING out! BUT, that being said, a couple mornings ago - he was loving some bananas.
He's also found his voice this weekend. It's not as high pitched as Jackson's when Jackson had started the 'yelling' but it's loud - and funny! He also has discovered the joy of blowing raspberries - as well as sticking his tongue out!

Randoms
Just a couple more randoms from the past couple days...
This morning I turned around to find Moose strumming his guitar and singing into his mic at the same time. He has really surprised me with his 'entertainer' side. Apparently Tuesday night when I was out at work, Nicole said he used his guitar with a drum stick and pretended to play the violin. Crazy boy...wonder if he'll always be into music. He is constantly catching beats everywhere and will start to dance...and if something is on in the car that is making him move, he'll holler 'Turn it UP!'.
Oops...
Today Jackson accidentally 'broke' the baby gate. It was a mixture of the screws that came with the gate being too short and his brute force on the wrong side during a brain fart! Either way it came out of the wall, and he started calling "Mommy help - uh oh Mommy! Mommy gate has an owie!". I came around the corner and saw a pout on his face and a gate on his lap...
So...He got in a bit of trouble had to apologize and then after nap he had to help fix it - which he was allllll for! After it was all done, he said thank you and gave his dada a hug and a kiss. I LOVE this boy! I feel so grateful that he's ours!
