The Living Desert

Yesterday we went to 'The Living Desert'.  It was H-O-T, so we spent only a couple hours there...but in that time it was hands down way cooler than the zoo in Edmonton.  The giraffes were a highlight for sure.  We were too late for the giraffe feeding but were able to get nice and close to them afterwards.  There was also a model choo choo exhibit thing that I'm sure Jackson could have stood at and discussed all day!  At the very end Papa and Jackson went on a camel ride...and Jackson is still talking about it!  Papa is too, but mostly out of pain!  It was fun.  It's so hot here that after a couple hours in the sun you have to find shade and air conditioning.  I can't even imagine what it's like in their 'summer season' as this is more than hot enough for us!

Sawyer & Swimming

Sawyer got in on the swimming action too...but really, I think he'd be happy anywheres doing anything as log as there was something he could chew on.  Poor bug.

Changin Too Fast

I feel like Sawyer is changing so fast lately!  Just in the past couple days he cut a couple teeth and is constantly assuming the crawl position.  Where is the time going?!

AND...Don't you just wanna pinch and kiss that sweet face?!  Apparently Jackson does!

Pool Party Day

Yesterday we decided that today would be a 'pool party' day!  And it's the perfect day for it.  We bought hot dogs and chips, got out the pool toys, and spent the morning outside.  We will revisit after everyone wakes from their naps too!

Of Course He Did...

Of course Sawyer cut two teeth yesterday and may be working on two more.  Why not?  Holidays aren't for rest anyways, right?!  RIGHT?!  Haha...he is such a treat during the night.  It's delightful!  Bugger!  Hopefully he cuts the two top ones soon because they are so swollen and red that they look like they are going to explode.  Poor stinker.

 With a face as cute as that, it's hard to stay frustrated with him!  Even though we were up pretty much allllll night with him!  I think the drugs and exhaustion finally kicked in with him at about 4 am!  Then Moosey was up at 7! 

Inspector Jackson

These photos are from right when we arrived to the house on Wednesday.  Jackson had to inspect the outdoors...and then play a bit of golf...however, at first he thought the clubs and balls could be used to play hockey...which I guess is a fair assessment!!!!
