Lacinas & Ackermans

On the Wednesday before Trevor left we went out to Ol' MacDonald Camp Ground again!  We met the Lacina's there and had a great time!  Amy and I get the kids together every other week - but the guys work almost opposite shifts so they are never able to join us, and that bummed Trevor out.  So we made an attempt to do it when they guys were around...after all, they were friends first!  AND the kids love each other...literally!

Sawyer falling asleep on Dadas lap!
Moose enjoyed playing in the sand more than swimming this time.  Strange!
This girl is a spitfire!  I love her!
Sawyer had a good nap!
Jackson saw Reece do this and of course had to do it himself!
Young Love
CUTE!!!!

I sure wish that family lived closer!  However, they DID just buy a house (literally while we were at Ol' MacDonald) in Sylvan - so they'll at least be closer than Saskatchewan (where they were looking!)!

Elmo Concert

I was so very sad when I heard that Elmo was in town and that the one time we could go, I had a photoshoot.  BUMMER!  But, Jackson just happens to have the BEST aunties and 'nana Selmas' that ever existed.  Auntie Nicole literally jumped at the chance to take Moose to Elmo.  And, although I'm sad I missed it, I am so very grateful that he had the opportunity to go and have a fun date with Auntie Cole and Nana Selma...who spoiled him with an LRT ride, the concert, some dinner, a couple Elmo souvenirs, and frozen yogurt...yes - remember - I did say he had THE BEST Aunties and I was not joking!  Caitlin and Cole love my boys as much as we do - and that's a very special thing!

Here's some of the experience!

I took these photos before they left...

Waiting by the door for his date!  It totally flashed forward to his first day of school...which I DON'T want to talk about!  Don't you just love that little back pack?  Packed with some diapers/wipes, snack, and money!
Ta Da!  Got he's cute!
Auntie and Nana Selma arrived...isn't she pretty?!?!
All loaded up in the carseat in Auntie's car...I installed it while he was napping!

From here on was out of my control!  I loved that Nicole took pictures and shared them with me!  It's like she knows me or something?!  Here are Nicole's pictures from their excursion!

On the LRT!  He LOVES the LRT!  Apparently one lady said to them...I'm sorry I'm staring, I just can't stop looking at his eyes!  Yup...they are blue - and pretty spectacular!
Waiting for the LRT on the way home!
And these are my favorites from the trip!  Thanks Nicole...I LOVED the videos...his laugh melts my heart!  You just know he had a magical time!

A good time had by all I'm sure!  Sure beat the heck out of my photoshoot!

Special thanks to Auntie Caitlin who watched Sawyer during my shoot!  He slept for her the whole time and she caught up on some reading!  Also beats the heck out of my photoshoot!

Spray Park Play Date

This morning we met the Cottons at Jackie Parker Park to have a little fun in the sun.  There was water, there was slides, there was a good time had by all.

This is now...
This was then...This picture was the exact same boys, the exact same slide, just over a year ago.  I had to go back and find it because I knew it existed and I couldn't wait to see the difference.  Oh my how time goes by.  It makes me a little sad!  But I love that these two boys are still as tight as they were when they were just a few months old!

Just Being :)

These photos were just some randoms before we put the boys down for naps yesterday!  It was Trev's last day home and we were just bummin' around...but I laid Sawyer on the table and he was too darn cute to pass up...then Moosey wanted in on it!  And, in the end, these random table top photos are some of my favs of the two boys together having a couple moments.  They make my heart smile.  Especially when they are happy just being together - they aren't looking at the camera or smiling or anything...I think that's why I love 'em!  Au naturel (I'm sorry all my french writers out there...I'm not overly sure how to spell that)!  These were also taken the day Sawyer turned 4 months...but a more devoted post will be coming in regards to that!  All the nitty gritty on what he's been up to!

For now...Enjoy these two brothers!

Legislature

Monday I had a shoot at the legislature and the boys ended up coming along to take a walk out and about for the morning while I did my own thing.

Jackson & His Papa

My days are all turned around...but I think on Sunday night my parents came over for some dinner and Papa brought his fun SSR.  We have always wanted Moose to take a ride in it but have been waiting and for some reason decided Sunday night was a good night for the two to go for a little cruise over to the gas station!  Vroom Vroom said the Moose when the Papa started up the truck!
