Flowers and Foliage!

The above photo is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken! :) If only I had a macro lense!

Did you know bamboo in Jamaica grows up to 5 inches a DAY! Wow! I can't keep one stalk alive in my laundry room!

Jamaica was full of some really cool plants! I could have spent days photographing all of them, but Trevor - not so much! I love how unique some of these are! Hope you enjoyed some of them as much as I enjoyed seeing them every day and photographing them! It was a treat!

Ocean Floating

Fun in Bed - - - NOT that kind of fun people!

It's hard when you take a trip with just the two of us as there are limited opportunities to have 'together' photos taken! Trevor busted out the camera for some self-portraits one night while we were watching Dancing with the Stars in bed. Thrilling - we know!

Creepy Critters

What a mean face on this dude! He was HUGE! For the longest time, I thought that the critters scurrying infront of us as we walked at night were lizards, until we finally flickered our flash on one - this is typically what we found! This guy was extra big! Ick! Made me happy we had a second floor room as these would live under the stairs of peoples' balconies! I'll take my lizard friend shown below!

There is a funny story about this creepy flighty friend! If ever you're around Trevor or I, you should ask us about it!

This little guy lived on our balcony and made a daily appearance - usually at night. I would always send Trevor out first to scout for him!

We found a variety of critters on our Jamaican trip! Some creepier than others! We searched high and low all trip for the crickets that were INCREDIBLY loud at night, but no luck! We will have to settle for these guys!

Jamaican Beach Relaxing!

I loved this photo of the sky! Every day at around noon there was a rain storm!

This is how we found the beach in the morning - empty and ready to be relaxed on!

This butterfly blended into its surroundings - but when it opened its wings to fly - it was soo colorful!

These singers would come daily and sing reggae! The "cigarette" guy in the yellow was a daily visitor too!

Jamaican Beaches

The Jamaican water was warm and fun...and the beaches were full of nice sand and great palm trees! The downfall was the little red ants that bit! Grrr....there were alot of ants - they drove me bonkers! None the less, hanging on the beach in the mornings was how we passed time. I thought I'd share some of my favorite photos of the waves and sand! More to come I promise! Uploading photos is a very slow and frustrating process!
