Sawyer was chillin in his walker this morning being all cute! I remember Moose really liking it too when he was younger. My favorite is when Jackson takes him for a drive. I have a video on my phone of jackson driving his quad and holding on to the walker so Sawyer could be his trailer. It is so stinking cute. There are so many lost moments on my phone that I have to upload!

It's a Good Thing
Jackson doesn't cry very often. Truly, it's a rarity...maybe once a week...maybe. It's a good thing, because depending on what has caused his crying, I struggle - in two totally different ways! If he is crying because he is hurt, it breaks my heart and I struggle not to cry with him. If he is crying because he is being punished or has a differing opinion than the one I have voiced, I struggle to take him seriously and it makes me laugh! Today, because it fell in the latter category (he was told that we couldn't go to the new park until after we ate lunch and his up-at-6:30 am little self couldn't handle the disappointment) I HAD to take pictures of his complete and utter despair that he had to fill his belly first! Oh to be TWO!!!
You would think that, judging by his reaction, he was just told that they are eliminating every tractor on the planet!!!!
Always Fun
I must say, that I love when babies start solids! It's so much fun and creates some fun moments! Sawyer has taken to solids fairly well. His favorite is squash; and he actually isn't a huge fan of fruit yet! Who knows, maybe that'll change :). My next goal is to make a lot of homemade baby food and freeze it. I was so on top of that when Jackson was small, but it's just harder to find the time to do it all! Maybe when Trev is home, we can dedicate a couple hours to it!
He just keeps getting cuter and cuter!!!
I am told that know one can make him laugh like I can...I think it must be because I must have the funniest face ;)!
PS. This is my favorite bib that Jackson actually got for his first Christmas from Auntie Lesley and Uncle Lee...hope we can add maybe two more to the collection!

Lovin' the Limelight
This little boy has been loving to rock out lately. He sings a lot, and now he's adding in the instruments. He also seeks out a stage...last night's choice...his step stool. He cracks me up lately. I remember doing this when I was little, but I was about 7!!! He does these little shows unpromted...and in fact, we get told to 'sit down' to watch. He cracks me up.
A side note...yesterday morning I was trying to get Sawyer to sleep in the swing. He was cranky and complaining and crying and I hear Jackson pipe up from the table where he was eating breakfast...'Try the bottle'. Genius. It worked. Thank goodness for my 2-year-old's wisdom! His phrasing just made me giggle. He's been catching me off guard a lot lately with our conversations! It's such a fun time in his life!

Ellerslie Community Celebration
We went over to hang out with the Cottons this morning to take part in their community fun! It was good fun. Watching the boys together is always fun, Jackson loves the bouncy houses/slides, and we even waited in (a long) line for face painting. Cute cute cute!
Is he not so cute as a Lion!? You should hear him roar!
Park Time with Daddy!
Thursday morning before Trevor had to go back to work we went to the park. It was nice to make time to take advantage of the nice Fall weather!

OH How I Love Thee
I love this little boy to the moon and back...
Yesterday morning was the first time that he has fallen asleep in the jumper! As I took the photo he moved a bit, woke himself barely, and settled right back in. I was really tempted to leave him in there, but a transfer was attempted...and the nap was pretty much over!
I'm glad I snagged a couple photos of those very sleepy eyes!
So cute!
