Happy Birthday Alina

Tonight Alina came over and brought chocolate cake for her birthday (horrible - I know - but she didn't tell me until this afternoon!!) - anyways...she brought Sig and he and Kia played and ate bones while Caitlin, Alina, and I ate cake!  The goal was to keep Mr. Jackson awake.  

Goal not accomplished!!

Mat Time Fun :)

Tonight we had some fun and laughs on the Einstein Mat!  It is funny because people keep asking me if I'm sure they are smiles and not gas...well for all those people...here you go!  There were smiles GALORE!  He is getting more and more fun each day!  He is making more noises...and I think giggling is just around the corner (I hope!).  

These last few were of him on his tummy working his magic...I love the concentration on his face!

Miss ya already daddy!

Bed Inspector!

Yesterday Trevor, Jackson, and I went to West Ed. We went to the Stars and Strollers Grown Ups!  It was so funny!  I laughed out loud so many times!  I loved it!  We then did some shopping...and stumbled across an awesome sale.  We have been looking at getting a light coverlet for our bed for the summer...but at Home Outfitters and Bed Bath and Beyond it was over $600 for the bedding we wanted (NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!).  Well, yesterday we saw pretty much the same thing (okay, not as shiny...but so what!) for a Super King size and it was $65!  Can you believe that?!  Their Bamboo sheets were on sale too!  So for under $200 we got a full set of summer bedding for our King sized bed!  Sersiously - go to Quilts, Etc. if you need bedding - I always thought it was just not our style...but it is where we ended up buying both our bedding sets now for way cheaper than anywhere else (except maybe Ikea!! - But better quality!).  Anywhos...that was my excitement for yesterday!  Most people know I LOVE my bedding and would have oodles of sets if I could!  Good find.  More excitingly for most of you followers is the bed inspector we recruited to check out the new bedding!...

Hey, what's so important over there?...

Our Little Stubborn Boy!

So, Jackson has it in his head that he is just not happy laying around or being still!  He is constantly trying to climb up us or scoot across the floor...usually ending in him getting frustrated!  He makes progress though...his new progress is that he is starting to realize that he can push his head up with his arms (for the past while...his downfall is that he forgets about his arms!)...

The doctor said at his 2 month check up that we are in for trouble as we have a strong, determined little boy on our hands!  We will take it!
