Snow Time

Some Saturday morning snow time :)

Jackson is now 2 1/2 - TWO AND A HALF!!!  How the heck did that happen!? More on that later!

Saturday we ventured out to take some xmas photos...which I've withheld from this post!  The boys, for the most part, were quite happy outside in the cold!  They are so much more resilient than us adults!  It really was a beautiful morning...it started snowing the big beautiful snowflakes as we were wrapping it up!

Ah - My EYE!  There's snow in my EYE!

Then he was sitting on the sleigh saying 'where's MY horse'...and we told him to be the horse...and that he did!  Well, he at least tried!  Sawyer's a 'heavy load'!  Even for the toughest of tractors!
Doesn't he look so impressed by the shinanigans!?
 I LOVE Winter :)

Two Milestones Captured!

Sawyer has been growing so much lately.  It makes me sad.  In 1 1/2 weeks he cut FOUR of his teeth...pretty much at the same time.  It started when we were in California where he cut two and then two more right when we got home.  They are always so hard to catch on camera, but I think we finally accomplished it yesterday while Sawyer was experiencing another 'first'...eating finger foods (*tear*).  He loved it.  And so did the dog!

Sometimes it's easier to forgo using hands, and just use the mouth!
I really just want to eat that face!  He's so stinkin sweet!
A shot of ALL FOUR!
What do I want next?!
'Whatchyou lookin at?!'
I just loved this face!
A shot of the toppers!
Shot of the bottom ones!

And then Jackson walked in announcing 'LOOK?' and I turned around and this is what I found.  I think a robot?!  He's getting so creative!  One of our favorite things is to listen in on his playing when he doesn't know we're listening!  It's like magic!  CUTE.

A glimpse into 10 minutes of our lives!

Randoms

Some leftover random shots of Moose from Cali.

Cave Explorer

Apparently I'm still catching up on trip pictures!  I thought I was done!

Jackson got the Safari hat from the Living Desert...he loved the light on it.  So, he and Papa, went for a small adventure walk up to the cave infront of my parents' house.  It's really not all that exciting!  But when you're 2, it's a nice little accomplishment!

The oh-so-exciting cave!
'I made it!'
The house from the cave!

Monster Cakes

Jackson's favorite breakfast food is pancakes...and he's really into monsters right now!  SO...when we saw this pan at Costco...it was a no brainer :)

The morning we had them for breakfast, he also asked to have them for dinner!

Snow Lovin' Fun!

I'm NOT the only one that loves the snow!  The first day we were home, Jackson asked to go outside to play in the snow at least four times!

The Reality Is...

The reality is that when I go to take a picture of the boys together - it usually looks like this!!!!....

Jackson is trying to push the palm tree over and Sawyer is reaching for the light!

The odd time I get lucky and get a half decent one like this...

One day I know they will sit and smile and amuse their mother...until then - I thoroughly enjoy the photos like these...

Because this is what being '2' is all about :)
