Park Fun in Sylvan

Here's some quick shots of our adventures today.  Moose is becoming more daring at the park.  His favorite thing right now would most definitely be the slides.  But he is getting more adventurous in how he reaches the top of the slides and it makes my heart panic a bit sometimes!  BUT...I just give him space to explore and am there to lend a catching hand, should he need it...which luckily hasn't been yet!  He's getting so big and literally amazed me EVERY day with things he's saying and doing!  We then walked over for ice cream at an awesome ice cream place with every flavor under the sun!  YUM!

wiping his chin!

Sawyer's Smiles

Today we went to Sylvan Lake for the day - it's so nice there!

We then came home and hung out outside while I watered the flowers and mowed the lawn.  Ah, summer :)  Sawyer is super smiley and 'coo-ey' lately!  It's so much fun to watch him try to interact with us.  I've noticed recently that he really loves it when his big brother interacts with him...whether he is talking, cuddling or trying to plant one on him...Sawyer just stares at him with intrigue.  Super cute!  Anywhos...thought I'd share that infectious smile with all of you on this sunny evening at 8:53 as both boys are sound asleep in bed - and it's glorious!

Busy, Busy

It's been another busy day!  It started with a photoshoot in the morning, a nap for the boys, a birthday party, sportball, the park, dinner, a different park - and BED!  Well, for the boys - but I'm following soon!  The second park date was with Auntie Caitlin, Auntie Nicole and Papa Kurt and Nana Selma! It was followed by a nice stroll. Smiles all around :)

Devon Days Pics

I'm so glad we decided to pack up the boys and head to Devon Days.  We kicked around the thought of the Rainmaker Rodeo - but turns out it was a zoo.  We had fun and it really wasn't all that busy!  Just a nice morning out and about.  There were tonnes of tractors in the parade, and motorcycles, and fire trucks.  It wasn't the worlds greatest parade...but good enough to amuse us!

Jackson was iffy at the petting zoo!  He wasn't to kean on the pony's which surprised me.  He was kinda scared of them.  He also moo'ed at them!  This being said, he loved the baby goats and bunnies...so he got to sneak some snuggles in with them!

Park Time

Today was a busy day!  We went to 'Devon Days' this morning and hit up a parade, mini donuts, petting zoo, and some lemonade...yum - it was fun!  Then home for nap, out to a birthday party, and then dinner and a walk to the park!  Can't ask for much more than that!  Can you tell I'm trying to wear a 2-year-old out?!  I think it's working!

Here are some pics from the park!

And here is our new addition!  I LOVE our new stroller!  The double BOB has been fantastic the past couple days...I was really disappointed that we didn't have the car seat adapter (not available until September) but really this works great and Jackson likes being able to say 'Hi Sawyer'...and I'm sure it won't be long before Sawyer enjoys staying awake and looking around!  Thank you to all of you who contributed to this awesome stroller...it has made my life much easier and more comfortable :)
