Sportball

Although we started two weeks behind everyone else, we did start Sportball today.  It will take Moose a couple weeks to get the routine of the program, etc...but it was a lot of fun :)  The facilitators were FANTASTIC!  Thanks to Nicole who came to run around with Moose while I watched over Sawyer.  It was nice to get him out doing something like this.  I loved it.  And so did he!

This week's sport was volleyball - - - I wonder what it will be next week!?

Same Age Photo

I looked back at some pics of Moose taken when he was the same age as Sawyer is now.  I did this yesterday :)  It isn't the greatest pic of Moose, but the similarities between the two boys were pretty clear to me!

Sawyer Bear
Moosey Boy
Moose has more hair...but the nose, chin, eyes, chubby cheeks are all in check!  I love these two!

Snoozer

Yesterday was Auntie Nicole's 30th Birthday!  She may kill me for announcing that number on the blog - but it is an amazing birthday and she still gets ID'd everywhere she goes - so really, she can't complain when she looks THAT GOOD!  Anywhos...I had the boys and we went early to set up some decorations.  Moose was all about exploring, being outside, and playing with 'Papa Kurt' as he calls him!  Papa Kurt reminds me a lot of my own dad...and I think he does the same to Moose!

Anyways...with all the commotion, this little guy had a snoozers on the couch.  Ah...to be able to sleep through pretty much anything!

Love this Face

Love this face :)

Miss You Trevor!

Brother Bath Continued

Yes - this is the second part to the last post!  I'm busy - what can I say!?

Jackson + Footed PJs = Not going to happen!

Jackson usually tries to include or interact with Sawyer in some way or form.  He tries to life him while groaning 'Hold Sawyer'!  We have to step in and help the process.  The other night Jackson was holding Sawyers foot as they were both in their car seats in the back of the truck.  Very cute!
We were wondering how he was going to fit in those!
It was tight!
I am sad that we couldn't get a nicer photo of the two together.  Clearly it was too close to bed time!

First Brother Bath!

Tonight is Trevor's last night home.  We try to enjoy it all...but the pink elephant in the room is that tomorrow, he leaves...and we are sad...and it's going to be a hard farewell.  We both know it's only for a week - and both of us will survive and we'll be together again soon...but he's been home for five weeks and it's so hard to imagine our days and nights apart.  Sawyer is bound to change a lot.  Moose is changing daily...his imagination, vocabulary, and personality is blossoming!

So...tonight we let the boys bath together for the first time.  Moose was SO EXCITED!  I am seriously so proud of that kid.  Sawyer is so lucky to have such an awesome big brother.  He was gentle, helpful, didn't splash once, and constantly was saying 'Hi Sawyer' or pointing and telling us Sawyer was there!  We had also seen matching one-piece pjs for cheap at Costco and had to do it!  However, we didn't realize how big Jackson really is!  He hasn't worn once piece pjs in probably over a year - so the whole concept was new to him too.  We switched him out before bed...but it was well worth the cuteness!

PJ pics coming soon...right now, we are going to go to sleep :)

Good night.

Sweet Sawyer

We are loving this little boy being a part of our family :)

He is so snuggly and makes the best noises.  I could listen to him breathe in my ear forever...it is so calming and relaxing - a reminder that with my boys around - life is good.

Finally

Finally we get to have some serious play time outside!  Yesterday the weather was so nice...with both boys napping like rock stars in the afternoon, Trevor made a HUGE dent in getting the garage cleaned and organized!  Then Moosey woke up before Lil Bear so we played outside...he LOVES everything about being outside!

He found his bike helmet in the garage...'My Hat!' 'My Hat!'...as he insisted on wearing it.  Okee dokee...wear your hat then!

He was super busy...from playing on his trike, with his tractor...or ringing the door bell and getting in trouble...he is always on the go!

Sawyer & Morning Snuggles

The new morning snuggler!  Who can resist those cheeks?!

My Chubster!

We had Sawyer's two week check up with the doctor this week and he weighed in at 11 lbs, 2 oz.  I was absolutely convinced the scale was messed up so I had them re-weigh him about four times AND THEN I even took him to the health center today to check...and their scales showed 11 lbs, 4 oz!  WOW!  That's really a bit crazy to me that he's gaining weight so well.  He is a big boy like his big brother.  Solid boys!  In about 10 years I may have to buy and stock another fridge and write their names on it.  There's times I look at Sawyer and he looks like my lil chunky bear...and other times where I think he looks smaller than Moose was!  Well the scales don't lie...and here is a pic of my lil bear's chubster moments!...

Breakfast

It's really too bad we have no fun at breakfast and that Jackson hates to be happy ;)

I'm fairly sure that smile is gonna get us through some pretty tired days!

My Little Rockstars

We bought these backdrops and I have fallen in love.  When we chose them, I had a similar shoot with Moose's drums in mind!  I love these two and wish them nothing more than to become the best of friends!  So far, in the early weeks - we are off to a good start!
