It's Snow Suit Time!

Yup, we now have a baby sled for Jackson, and we are so excited to use it!  In spirit of sledding, we tried on his snow suit...which, although big, will work wonderfully!  He is all ready to go - I just need to get better to take him out!
Yup, getting better, that has been on the top of the list the past couple days.  I think I've been bitten by the flu bug.  Yesterday was horrible.  HORRIBLE!  I will spare you the details - because they aren't pleasant!  However, I want to give a shout out to Caitlin, June & Shaun who all helped with Jackson yesterday...complete life savers all of you are!  Also a shout out to my husband who flew back home this morning to help out.  Thank goodness for daddy.  I was far too weak today to stay on my own feet never mind carry Mr. Moose around!

Gotta love good family and friends!

New Trick

Jackson's new trick is going from a sitting position to his belly.  He is also starting to get his bum up in the air.  He doesn't go anywhere yet, and his bum doesn't stay there for long - but it's a start!  He had his eyes on my ornaments in the middle of my table!

His new hair cracks me up!

Look Out!

When this boy gets moving, I'm going to have to be on the lookout because I think he will be into EVERYTHING!  We had him sitting on the island and he immediately got into the paper towels!  Oh, the joy he found in paper towels!  He's a clever little stinker!  We now have half a dozen paper towels folded by our sink!

Saturday This and That

This afternoon our friend Mel came over to make some Christmas cards.  Oh, how it's been a long time since I've done such a thing!  Needless to say, my dining room turned into the above very quickly!  All for the love of crafting!

Then later in the evening, Mr. Magoo occupied himself with his toys!  For the record, he was placed on his play mat, on his back in the middle with his head facing the table.  The fish toy was to his right on the carpet.   He hasn't figured out how to crawl...but he is surprising me with the amount he moves around!  I will turn around and it's changed...so needless to say, that baby gate in the basement will be going up shortly!

I'm having a rotten night.  Bad things happen in threes, correct?!  I'm going to call it good then, and try to catch an early trip to bed so it ends sooner than later!

A Special Present!

My Favorite!
I told him I was going to send this photo to santa!
He found this light, and thought it was the coolest thing that his hand would glow when he put it around it!

Who wouldn't want THIS present under their Christmas tree?!?!

Many Faces!

Jackson was being super cute last night in his walker, so I snapped a couple photos of him!  First looking suave, then a smile!

Sea Lion Cavern

Yesterday was Customer Appreciation Day at the Sea Lion Cavern at WEM.  June and I decided that we should hit up the show - which was FAR busier than I had imagined!  Anyways...we went and it was so fun to see Jackson watch the show!  He was very into it!  I have to say, I've never been to the show...I've definitely stopped and peeked in during other performances, but never have I sat in and watched the whole thing.  It was a treat!  There was even one part, when the sea lion and trainer were looking for 'predators' to the mission impossible theme and it was quite a funny bit.  Actually, it was so cute, that even Jackson found it funny and laughed out loud - which - beyond any show - made my day!  In fact, I was just so touched by it that it may have brought a little mommy tear to my eye!

Thanks to June for giving us a copy of her pics and video that she took!

At the end of the show, we decided to stay and wait to have our photos taken with the sea lion.  Then, we were to wait and go back to pay for it!  Well, when we went back - we were notified that they had been accidentally deleted...and in a Cole's Notes version - too bad for us!  Nu-Un, that wasn't good enough for me, so we complained, and they actually let us in, got the sea lions back out and took our pictures all over again!  Crazy!

They aren't great quality, but it's a memory nonetheless!

It's funny because I knew the sea lion was coming, but it startled me still, and its whiskers were VERY ticklish!  Hence, me not looking at the camera!

And last but not least, the video of part of the show!  The finale!
